This email has the subject heading “Need Extra? (Global Job is now hiring…)

What they should be hiring is spell checkers because this email from wdajob.com is littered with spelling mistakes! If that isn’t enough to tip you off that this is a scam, then these key phrases should - no experience, no education, work part-time! Chuck in a US$2000 a week earning capacity and you have a money mule scam.

Click on the website and it gets worse. The website is headed “International Job Employee” – look familiar? It should because it’s the same website used for Bestfast-Job.com.

The website claims that wdajob.com is a payment processing centre for businesses buying and selling items online.

If you get involved, the only thing you will be transferring is stolen money in and out of your bank account. Often the money has been stolen from other people’s bank accounts via the Internet. Scammers use Trojan and key logging viruses to capture customer online banking details. Once you receive the money, you take your cut and pass the rest to a pre-arranged overseas destination.

There are laws against money laundering. There is a real possibility that you will be prosecuted. It is not worth the risk of prosecution and a criminal record.
