If you have noticed any unusual or suspicious transactions in your accounts or on your credit card statements, contact your bank or financial institution immediately.
If you discover your account details or credit card has been compromised, you need to contact your bank straight away so they can close your accounts and cancel your credit cards.
The sooner you are able to do this, the sooner you are able to limit any losses to your account.
You will then need to discuss with your bank or financial institution about any losses. They may or may not reimburse you for your losses, depending on the way the details were compromised and their own policies. Sometimes you may not ever know how your details were compromised.
