Unfortunately, most victims do not get their money back from scammers.  Scammers are very clever and often use systems which protect them not you.

Scammers like to be untraceable, leaving very little evidence behind so it is often very difficult to track down the person or group that has scammed you.

If you have sent money to an overseas company, Australian government agencies cannot help you get your money back as those companies are out of their jurisdiction.

But there are still things you can do and agencie who can help support you.  Remember, the most imporant thing you can do is report it.
