Quick Cash Contest
A guaranteed prize amount of $30,000 is yours by answering three questions, or so the organisers behind Quick Cash Contest claim.
The organisers claim that Quick Cash is a point-based contest and consists of three puzzle levels of progressive difficulty.
It’s no puzzle that this is just another scam letter.
We think the Quick Cash contest should be renamed the “Slow Cash” contest.
The contest rules state that it will be judged on or before May 31, 2007! Prizes will be awarded after a 30-day protest period and no later than July 31 2007! That’s nearly a year after one WA ScamNet contributor received their letter inviting them to enter.
Quick Cash states its main prize is $30,000 with 49 secondary prizes ranging from $50 to $2,500.
So how much does it cost to enter? The letter states there is a one-time judging fee of $25 – unless you opt for the bonus opportunities, which will cost you up to $125. The bonus opportunities are said to increase the amount of “any cash you win”.
Ask yourself:
-
Is it really worth spending your hard earned money to enter a competition which will not be judged for a year?
-
Do you really want to supply your credit card details to a company you know nothing about and which only has a PO Box address?
-
How do you independently verify that the money was or will be paid out?
Quick Cash, Cash Contributions, Direct Riches Contest and Ready Riches Contest are run by WPL Promotions Limited and Enigma Promotions Ltd. The two companies have the same return mail address of PO Box 326, 5010 48th Avenue, Delta BC Canada.
It’s no puzzle that this is the same scam operating under different names. Don’t waste your money by responding.
